WIPocalypse for July 31

For the second time this month the participants of WIPocalypse are able to show their progress!
Yes, July 2015 brought us not one but two full moons, the elusive Blue Moon.
Question of the month

What makes you pick up a long abandoned UFO rather than beginning a new piece?

That's a good question. I'd have to say that I really don't like things that go unfinished. That and the fact that it's there, staring me in the face, begging to be completed or at the very least given some love and attention.

Not only did I get this far on these pieces but I managed to get my printer cooperating and
voila!

The Alchemist has come out to play!!
This is my Big Ass Project that's in my sidebar.

I'm combining both SALs on this one post, more stitch time ;)

    1. The weather has been so hot here as well but it has finally subsided, a little bit. I'm not sure how many hours it will take to finish "The Alchemist", I'm just going to enjoy the journey ")

  6. Great progress. I do enjoy these monthly updates, as it can seem like you are not making much progress until you look back at the photos.

  9. I adore snowmen, so I find your piece with Santa and the snowman absolutely adorable! I just love seeing your progress on The Alchemist. What a great chart! (And it makes the the 147,600 stitches piece I just began seem tiny in comparison...)
